About Me

Every organization needs a good communications professional to tell their unique story. That’s where I come in.

I’ve built a career on the strength of my writing and editing skills but have also amassed experience in global nonprofit communications, media relations and magazine editorial:

• As a communications manager for an international nonprofit, I’ve helped hone organizational messaging while juggling multiple projects and working collaboratively with colleagues around the world.
• As a media relations professional, I perfected the art of writing an informative press release and securing media coverage.
• As managing editor for a number of different industry publications, I learned how to tell a good story, developed an understanding of effective publication design and became adept at picking up new concepts quickly.
• As the owner of my own freelance business, I managed budgets, conducted marketing and created a variety of content for clients, from newsletter articles to brochures to presentations to speeches.
